Brenda Cohen strives to create unique jewelry that is not only original in form and structure but is also meticulously crafted to high-end, heirloom quality.
Brenda attended Tyler School of Art and specialized in sculpture and jewelry. After art school, Brenda apprenticed under a master European jeweler on Philadelphia’s own Jeweler’s Row for several years. During this time, she honed her craft as a wax model maker and bench jeweler, as well as exploring her love of custom design.
After several years of doing design and jewelry work for stores around the Philadelphia and tri-state area, she established her own studio in 1997. There she began creating her own original designs and bespoke rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and more, based on her customers’ visions.
Brenda is the lead designer and artisan maker of all the jewelry here. From CAD design to stone setting and polishing, Brenda’s expert eyes and hands have been on every piece of jewelry.
One day, Brenda was commissioned to make a “Bishop Ring” for a local area bishop. Word of mouth spread and Brenda began making many custom designed rings and crosses for Bishops, Overseers, Pastors and other religious leaders, eventually making a home for them at “bishoprings.com.”
Whether secular or religious in nature, Brenda is laser-focused on making her customers happy, and she is proud to be a jeweler for families spanning multiple generations. Time after time, she creates one of a kind, custom jewelry that is personalized, unique and meant to last a lifetime, or longer.
When Brenda’s not making jewelry, she’s a mom, wife, musician & baker. She knows family and will make something special for yours!

Brenda travels extensively to find rare, precious gemstones to incorporate into her work and makes every effort to source stones and metals ethically. She also uses a wide array of diamonds, both lab grown and natural, and ensures they are conflict-free. She uses high-quality recycled gold.
The process
How It Works
Chat With Brenda
Tell us your vision and bring in any jewelry you’re hoping to remake. We need at least 12 weeks to design and create your custom jewelry.
Gem Selection
Choose your diamond or other precious stones. We will advise you based on the size of your ring. We provide GIA certification and can do appraisals.
Design Your Ring
After we have a sense of what you’re looking for, we’ll send you some rough designs and then a CAD design for approval.
Make Your Ring
We will source your gold and gems, cast the design, set the stones, engrave (if requested) and polish your piece at least five times.
